Our after school children have been doing a lot of travelling this fall. Inspired by the book - ‘Children around the world’ - we have been exploring art from different countries and cultures. They spent three weeks learning about art from Mexico. The lesson ended with a very special “Day of the Dead’ celebration. These are their fabulous skull creations. The children also did wonderful portraits of Freda Kahlo – but you will have to wait for the third annual vernissage to see them!
